Riding during poor light or at night can be quite dangerous. That's why it's always important to wear bright clothing and make sure all of your bike's lights are working. However, bright clothing isn't really the biker look, is it? One way to continue wearing your biker leather is to add some neat reflective motorcycle patches to your dark leather jacket. There are many different patches that look great and can keep you safe. If you're patriotic, you might want to add an American flag reflective patch to your jacket.
The American flag is worn by many bikers who are very patriotic. Some of these bikers are veterans or are currently serving in the military. They love wearing symbols that show their pride in their country. However, these patches don't work very well at night or during the dawn or dusk. It's just too hard to really see a biker during these times. Even when a bike's headlights and taillights are on, it can be hard to see them because they don't take up as much space as a larger vehicle.
Reflective patches, though, can change all of that. It's a great way of staying safe while riding in the dark. Some bikers keep an extra vest or jacket on hand so they can cover them in reflective patches. Then they stow the item in their saddlebags so if they're ever out after dark, they can put it on and safely ride home. Others do put reflective patches on their usual jacket, but there aren't as many different designs, so the options are limited.
