Hello my name is Rusty “Shadowman” Walters I have been riding motorcycles for a while and I now have a 2006 Honda Shadow VLX named Smoke my wife and I love riding and we do a lot of rallies and road trips my wife and I have 2 daughters and they love riding while we were in Leesville I used to take my daughter to school on the bike I mean she was like in 1st grade and she would get up every morning and get her uniform on and her little biker boots and her helmet on and get ready for school now alot of people picked on me about my daughter riding the bike cause I had a seatbelt that went around her and around me people were always like why you have a seat belt around you scared you gonna fall off well I said no but just in case we had to lay the bike down she would go with me … Well one evening after we all got off work and ate dinner I decided to go for a ride and my daughter came up to me and said “Daddy can I go with you ” I mean how was I supposed to turn that one down so she gets her stuff on and I get the bike out and we head off we did not get but about 2 miles from the house and some idiot ran out in front of us I had to lay the bike down well when I got up I was looking for my daughter and she was across the street she had jumped off the back of the bike when we went down and ran across the street well I guess that she knew what to do I was so proud of her and she walked across the street and hopped back on the bike and we took off and went riding while taking her back and forth to school on the bike the teachers that were out side the school on duty nick named my daughter “Lil motorcycle Momma ” it was so cute . My daughter is now almost a teenager and she still loves to ride with me her mom is thinking about getting her own bike cause we have another daughter to and well you cant ride three people on a bike so they have to take turns my daughter did Vets for Vets rally with me a few years ago when her mom could not ride cause she blew her back out and all the people were just like look how cute she was she had her little leather jacket on and everything enclosed I have a picture of her at the rally with the belly dancers that were there we got lined up and ready to ride to the Veterans home and everyone just kept watching her and we got back from the ride and parked the bikes and all these people were coming up to us and saying she rides like a pro and we told them well she has been riding since she was in the 1st grade so she knows how to ride a bike …. Another story I would like to add is that my wife and I are members of the Patriot Guard Riders and we do all these funerals and such for the veterans and active duty soldiers and we attended a funeral for a guy that was a veteran and we went to the funeral home and did the flag line outside the funeral home and one of his daughters came up to us and was so emotional in her hand she was carrying a shadow case with some of his army stuff in it and in this case there was his purple heart I was like wow what an honor to be here for this guy in the mist of a true hero the feeling was amazing so we continue on with the flag line and then all of a sudden it starts storming we started running around like a bunch of chickens with our head cut off we got all the flags up and got out of the rain well one of this guys family members came out and asked our ride captain did any of us have any plans around 6:30 and our ride captain came to us and asked and everyone said no not that we know of so he goes back in the funeral home and about 20 minutes later he comes back out and says ok here is the deal we are going out to eat at Applebee’s and we would like you guys to join us and your meal will be paid for but it would be an honor if you guys would join us for dinner well we went to dinner with them and these guys were telling the waitress see this table here take care of them they are the important ones lol well we ordered our food and drinks and we sat and ate dinner with them and when they said the blessing before we started eating the guy included us in the blessing saying how greatful that we are to do what we do for all these veteran and active duty soldiers .When we got to the graveside services the next day we were there before the family was and we had the flag line ready and then here they come with him and we stood there and made sure that he got his final salute as the honor guard and some of the Patriot Guard including myself escorted his body from the hearse to the grave we we got back in our flag line and stood there thru the service and then all the family said their final goodbyes and when one of his daughters went to say her final goodbye and when she did she damn near grabbed the casket and hugged it and was like “I love you Daddy I love you and I always will love you ” at that moment i got kinda teary eyed cause I know how I felt when my dad passed away and man they just kept getting more and more sad and by the time everyone was done it was really hard not to have tears in your eyes when you see how much this man meant to his family it was the best feeling in the world and we have done a few funeral like that where you cannot help but to get a little emotional sometimes it is hard at these funerals not because it is a funeral but because just watching the families and then when they come up to you and thank you or hug your neck for being there for their loves ones you cannot even know how hard it is sometimes …..

Hello my name is Christie “Ladyraven” Walters , I wanted to tell you about some of the experiences that my husband and I have had on our Motorcycle “Smoke” Smoke is our 2006 Honda Shadow VLX great bike .. Well we have been around a bit on the bike we have been to a number of rallies and shows . We attend the Vets for Vets here in Shreveport we also do the Boo Run out in Texas . we have taken many trips on the bike for instance We took a ride to Mena Arkansas about 2 years ago it was a hot summer day and we decided just on the moment we were going to go to Mena for the weekend , so we hopped on the bike and took off great ride Hotter than Hell lol but fun , we decided after we set up our camp site to drive up Mount Willimena it was beautiful well we split up the trip so on the first day we went half way and on the way down we saw all these people in the middle of the road looking at something well as we got closer we came to see that it was a great big rattlesnake we missed his tail by inches and that was the first time that I rode side saddle on the bike ..Some of our other stories that we have is that here recently my husband and I joined the Patriot Guard Riders and we do these funerals for veterans and active duty soldiers this is a wonderful group of people that we ride with and we stay pretty busy the last couple of weeks we have had a lot of funerals to do but one of the most loved one I have ever been to was the funeral for a 13 year old boy named Odie Harris .. Odie battled cancer and he wanted to be a US Marine when he grew up well being that he was terminal his one wish was to be a Marine well he was made an honorary youth Marine by the Sheriffs office here in Bossier City well he lost his battle on May 31st and his family requested that the Patriot Guard be there to honor him well we went to the funeral home and we stood in a flag line outside the front of the funeral home and to see the looks on his family and friends face was amazing well after we did the flag line we went the next day and went to the church where his service was being held and we placed American flags out in front of the church we then left the church and went back to the funeral home and escorted his body from the funeral home back to the church as soon as we got there 6 of our riders were his paul bearers and they escorted him from the hearse to the church we then did a flag line until the service started . as soon as the service started we put the flags up and lined the bikes up to get ready to escort him to the cemetery there was about 50 plus bikes there in honor of this little boy and our ride captain asked my husband and I to ride in front of the hearse because we were the only ones out there that were flying a US Marine Corp flag so we put our bike in front of the hearse .. So the line up went as followed Sheriffs office then all the bikes then the family car then the preachers car then my husband and I then the hearse and we pulled out of the church and headed about 30 miles to the cemetery when we got to the cemetery we made a horseshoe flag line and stood there while they did the service we then walked back to our bikes and waited there until everyone was gone except the funeral people and the grave diggers after everyone left we pulled out and when we got to this little church were they were serving lunch everyone was just so honored that we did this for this little boy to see the faces and emotions of these families like Odie’s and the families of all these other fallen soldiers is so inspiring to me and my husband and I am proud that I am a Member of the Patriot Guard just to be able to honor those who have and are fighting for our country is truly an honor.

I have a club member who goes by “SEA DOG” He is a former NAVY S.E.A.L. This was before he became a member of R.C.L., my club. He and his task team was due in KOREA for some classified activities. When they pulled up and into the dock point area he saw two big red, tarnished, rusty of a sort, docking entry gates. He described the ground as wet and mud/gravel ridden. They stepped out onto KOREAN soil and the first thing he noticed was the intense smell of human waste,(Piss/Shit). He described how the natives just toss their waste in the streets as they do not have a very good septic system there. His Chief told them: “You do NOT drink anything that does not have a top, and you DO NOT eat anything here but sea-rations. This of course was not question by “SEA DOG” or his shipmates. They finished processing through the KOREAN entry briefing. “Sea DOG” and one other friend/shipmate of his S.E.A.L. Task Team began to walk around to decide how they were going to use some of their down time (R&R). They passed through the gates and the check point and into the front area of the city they were in. “SEA DOG” and his bud began to see these little makeshift tents called: SOJU TENTS. They walked over to them and there were KOREAN police guarding them. They were friendly but very alert! As “SEA DOG” and his bud entered the tent, all they saw was long well made tables and benches and nothing else what so ever. They sat down and was then happily offered a drink by the KOREAN bartender. He briefly told them that there are two sizes: a small bottle about 2 1/2 inches tall and a large one about 4 inches tall. So not big at all. Well these boys just couldn’t say no and decided that it was nothing to drink this little puny of a bottle filled with what looked like the color of, and smelled like fermented grapes. They first tasted it with a conservative sip and both agreed that it was nothing to drink this. By now the KOREAN police officer was nodding his head back and forth. “SEA DOG” and his bud asked: Whats the matter sir? (to the KOREAN police officer). The KOREAN officer smiled at them and said:”You see later”.
Well, “SEA DOG” and his buds AMERICAN pride got the best of them, and they both slamed the large size, 4 inch bottle down the ol’hatch. The KOREAN officer just smiled with intensity. “SEA DOG” and his bud began talking about what to do next as they were polishing off this small bottle. They began to smoke a cig and as they finished it they both fell strait on their backs into the muddy, watery puddle. “SEA DOG” described that he and his bud could not move their bodies at all. The only thing they could move was their neck and head. They began to call for help. The KOREAN officer flagged down their shipmates. “SEA DOG” and his bud were lowered down into the submarine (SDV)S.E.A.L. Delivery Vehicle. He described that it took 5 other seals to lower him and his bud into the SDV and into their bunks. They slept like bears in the woods he described. The next morning they woke to the smell of fresh breakfast. He and his fellow buds went to the mess area where their funny, cool, navy ship chef was preparing large egg ommletts for them with every thing in it you could think of. As soon as they Smelled the eggs they all puked all over the deck. Their cook laughed his ass off for days. That is the story of “SEA DOG” and The SOJU Tent.

In 2009 the River City Lowriders did an event(Food Drive/Fundraiser), for the Community Harvest Food Bank in Fort Wayne IN. This was our first club event for R.C.L. It was awesome! we had such an outpouring from the community as well as our local media news and radio stations. We also had great sponsors and investors We were able to raise $500.92 in money donations, and 281 lbs. of food for the needy children (Backpack For kids Program),Seniors, and Adults who needed this so much in the troubled economy we live in. It was great to to do something big for our community and something so much bigger than us! R.C.L. was founded on values such as these. I think this helps the MC,BC,and CC clubs alot with a better image of who we all really are. There is a time for all clubs to party, ride HARD,mess around and just be rebels!, but then there is a time for all clubs to do good works and help give us all a good name. This event was just an example of the fact that MC, BC, and CC clubs do have a good reputation and not just that “Mean Biker” or rebel law breaker label that is just too misunderstood by outsiders!
I have family that is OUTLAWS MC and one of them said: “In The End We All Ride Together”. And in the end we all really do right up to those golden gates…….

We got a club member who went to court for a battery charge once. He was in some shit for about 9 traffic tickets.
He went to jail and spent the night. He then went to court the next day and stood before the judge. The morning of he packed his ass with a big handful of (JIFFY)peanut butter. When he stood in front of the judge he reached his hand down the back of his pants and scooped out a big goop of this peanutbutter and started lick’in his fingers right in front of the judge! Ha Ha, the judge dissmissed his case and his traffic tickets and ordered him to thearapy. It was the funniest damn thing we all saw. There were 18 of us at his hearing and we busted out laughing in court.
The funny thing was is that he got the peanutbutter idea from a movie he saw and it worked!
Bonus Story
We were at an MC party one night and we partied until the damn sun came up.Drink’in, do’in the hot dog run and all that shit. Around 5:20 the next day gunfire started going off. I had a “PROBATE” with us. We all started scattering like roaches to light. He was mistaken for the target. He was shot at 11 times and the dumb fucker missed all 11 times. He got his ass whipped later…..Ever since then we call him “RICOCHET”
