Florida Man Raising Money for Families of Service Personnel

Adam-Sandoval-and-ScooterA Florida man is taking a year out to travel around the country with his beloved pooch to raise money for families of our service personnel. Adam Sandoval and Scooter began their journey in November 2014 and plan to visit each one of the 696 United States Harley Davidson dealerships.

Although Sandoval never served in the forces, he says that he always wanted to and regrets never joining up. Because of this, he is raising money at each of the dealerships and he will donate one hundred percent of whatever he raises to the children of those who died serving our country. He will cover the cost of his gas and time and will make sure that the full amount raised will go to those families.

This great project is being encouraged every step of the way, with many people coming out to show their support to Sandoval and Scooter. And when the weather gets bad and the journey gets a little tough, Sandoval says that he keeps the children in mind, which helps him to keep going. "These people are giving a lot of sacrifices. I'm doing my part. I'm giving it one year and I'm doing my part to let them know they didn't do it in vain," Sandoval said. "We appreciate what they do."

The Cheap Place would like to wish Adam and Scooter good luck with their trip. Giving up a year of his life to raise money for the families of those who have sacrificed their lives for our country is a wonderful gesture and one that we are sure will make a huge difference to so many people.
