Military Patches for Caps

Desert Storm Veteran PatchThe more I see military patches for caps, the more they grow on me. The subject of today's post, the Desert Storm Veteran Cap patch, is no exception. And by the way, The Cheap Place has quite a few cap patches that really look sharp when sewn to the front of a baseball cap - especially a black one. Black really makes the patches standout so they can be easily seen and read.

Today's patch is for Iraq veterans who specifically took part in Operation Desert Storm. In case you're confused, Desert Storm was the main offensive by the U.S. during the first Gulf War (August 1990 to February 1991). The war was fought on behalf of the Middle Eastern country of Kuwait, a U.S. ally that was invaded by Iraq without provocation. U.S. forces liberated Kuwait and drove the Iraqis out of the country very quickly during the course of the campaign.

In light of the second Gulf War, and the subsequent capture and trial of Saddam Hussein, the first Gulf War and Operation Desert Storm are sometimes forgotten by the American people. It's important that we remember this very brief war and the soldiers who served in it. The Storm Veteran Cap patch is one of the ways we can ensure that happens. If you are a veteran of Desert Storm, this patch deserves a place on your baseball cap or in your patch collection. If you're a reseller looking for wholesale patches, it definitely belongs in your inventory.
