New York City Veteran's Day Parade Includes Victory Motorcycles

New York City Veteran's Day ParadeOne tradition celebrated every year on Veteran's Day in New York City is America's Parade, the largest Veteran 's Day parade in the country.  As always, two of the groups that will be participating in the parade are Victory Motorcycles and the Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America (IAVA).  These two groups have collaborated to march and ride in the parade for years.  If you see people wearing veterans patches, chances are they'll be on a Victory.

This year, Victory and the IAVA will unveil their Road Home program.  As a part of this program, Victory will give $500 to the IAVA for each new Victory motorcycle they sell.  This program will help military veterans from the conflicts in Afghanistan and Iraq more easily adjust to returning to their normal lives.

Victory Motorcycles sells about 30 percent of all of their bikes to veterans, which is why they are such an eager supporter of the IAVA, military personnel, and others who serve their country.  In fact, Victory actually gives veterans, first responders, and soldiers $1,000 off any new Victory bike they purchase.  This includes any of the motorcycles that will be featured in the parade.  These 2015 bikes include baggers, touring models, and premium cruisers.  They are all designed for comfort, reliability, and style.

The IAVA was formed in 2004 with the goal of helping the millions of veterans who had served in Afghanistan and Iraq.  Their goal is to empower these veterans.  More information about the IAVA can be found at www.iava.org.
