Today we finish off our special week of Native American patches by talking about the large Howling Wolf Moon patch. This one measures approximately 12" x 12" and is ideal as another back patch for Native Americans or Lone Wolf riders. It's identical to the medium-sized version, just a little bit larger. What most impresses me about it is the texture the artist created by using a different shades of color. It almost makes it look as though the wolf is real!
Like all patches of this size it would be wise to use a needle and thread to attach it. And if you're attaching it to leather you'll need to sew it anyway, because the heat-activated glue doesn't work with leather. The die-cut edges give you a clean border to sew with; they'll also prevent curl ups and pilling from taking place. This is a good quality patch that is suitable for any jacket, not just leather.
