This Detailed Eagle Patch is Incredible

Dreamcatcher eagle patchThere are a lot of really awesome Eagle Patches on The Cheap Place.  Many of these patches are patriotic in nature and feature the U.S. flag on them.  Others, however, are done in a Native American style.  These patches use the eagle along with symbols from Native American culture.  The large Dreamcatcher Eagle Patch is a gorgeous, colorful patch that will look amazing on the back of a jacket or vest.  It features a number of different Native American symbols and images along with the eagle.

The background of this patch is a large dreamcatcher.  The details on the branches that make up the frame of the dreamcatcher are really impressive.  Stitched across this frame are different colored lines representing the web that captures nightmares.  Dreamcatchers are hung above the bed and, according to legends, only allow good dreams to slip through the web.

Hanging off the left hand side of the dreamcatcher are two long feathers.  Feathers mean a number of different things in Native American tradition.  In general, they stand for freedom, trust, honor, and wisdom, although the feathers of different birds often have other meanings.  The feather of the eagle is one of the most treasured possessions because of the eagle's connection to the heavens and of its symbol as the leader of birds.

This patch measures twelve inches across.  This design by Arturo Vilmenay actually comes in two sizes, with this being the larger of the two.  Because it's so large it has many different shades of color and detail that you won't see in smaller sizes.  Like many large biker back patches, you can iron this eagle patch on using a hot iron or, if you're going to put it on certain materials like leather, you can sew it on.
