- A Helmet – A helmet is essential even if you live in a state that makes them optional. Falling off a motorcycle can be extremely dangerous whether you are new to bikes or a seasoned veteran. Protect your head and keep nasty bugs out of your face with a helmet.
- Leathers – Falling off a motorcycle isn't just bad for your head. Your whole body will suffer, particularly from road rash. A set of leathers will protect you. Consider leather trousers and a jacket at the very least.
- Gloves – A good pair of gloves will protect your hands in the event of an accident and help keep your hands warm. Never underestimate the power of a pair of gloves.
