Bikers from around the U.S. will be flocking to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, May 9 through 18 for the 75th annual Myrtle Beach Bike Week. The 75th anniversary rally is sure to be something special. The rally is one of the largest in the south, bringing in thousands of bikers. Some even come from overseas to attend the gathering.
The Myrtle Beach rally has a ton of different events. Two of the most popular are the Southern and Northern tours. These bike tours take riders through either the gorgeous northern part of South Carolina or the amazing southern part. The southern stretch takes bikers to the waterfront in Georgetown, while the northern route visits a winery and takes a tour of the Medieval Times restaurant. Bikers can also take the loop tour, the longest ride. It hits up both the seaside areas and the northern attractions!
Are you bringing your spouse or other friends along who might get tired of all the biking? The Nantucket Music & Wine Fest, located at the La Belle Amie Vineyard, will be held on May 15. There will be winetasting, great live music, and more. It's a nice way to wrap up the latter half of the bike week.
