There are a lot of different large eagle patches on The Cheap Place. One thing all of them have in common is that they are very detailed, colorful, and absolutely gorgeous. It does double duty as a patch honoring those soldiers who are prisoners of war or who have gone missing in action while on a mission.
This large golden brown eagle comes flying out of a storm of lightening clutching the POW MIA flag. It's very dynamic, you get a sense of action from the patch, unlike some patches. Yet it's still just as detailed as any patch. The crackling lightening in the background is an especially nice addition. It could have been left out, but doing so would made the background boring. The eagle might have stood out a little more, but it would have lost a little of its excitement.
This large back patch measures 8 by 5.5 inches. It's irregularly shaped, so you may be able to fit smaller patches around it. This embroidered patch can be ironed on to your vest or jacket. If you're putting it on leather, be sure to sew it on instead because leather does not handle heat very well.
