If you are in Washington, you might want to join the Lady Riders of Western Washington. They are based in Redmond. They are a fairly informal group, and they hold rides all throughout the west side of the state. They have a calendar where you can meet up with all kinds of other women to ride with or you can even create your own events.

If you want an organization that has a greater purpose, considering joining Lady Riders against Cancer, Inc. This one is based in Ohio, specifically Sharonville. They raise money for cancer organizations and sponsor Relay for Life. They do have a membership fee, and they meet on the first Thursday of every month.

On the other hand, if you are looking for a national organization, check out Sisters in Spirit Motorcycle Association for Women. It caters to a diverse group of women, both young and old, so you're sure to fit in no matter what your background. The organization actually has a charter based with the American Motorcyclist Association, so the group is widespread.

Ladies, before you take another wild ride on your motorcycle, find a local group for women riders. You are sure to make some new friends, discover new areas, and have a good time all around. Most groups have events at least once a month, so don't be shy.
