Halloween is almost here! While most people have selected their Halloween costume, there are a few who still haven't really thought of what they're going to go as. They may usually wait until the last minute, or they might have an idea that just isn't working out. If you've found yourself short a costume with less than a week to put something together, don't worry. There are plenty of quick costumes you can make using patches.
One of the easiest to put together is a military costume. You can use veteran patches and military patches along with some camouflage clothing to make a soldier outfit. If you don't like camo, you can pretty easily put together an outfit for a navy or marine officer, air force pilot, or even a sniper or special ops agent.
Firefighters, police officers, and sheriffs are also pretty easy costumes to put together with just a few patches and the right clothing. Don't have any clothing that will work? You can find many options as second-hand stores and thrift stores.
Another good option for a costume that can be put together using patches is, of course, a biker! It doesn't take much to create a biker outfit. Just grab a jacket and cover it with motorcycle patches. Then find some riding leathers and maybe even a helmet and you're set.
There are other patches that work for different costumes. You can create an interesting Native American outfit using dreamcatcher patches and other related patches. If you want to go as a particular TV or movie character who wears a patch-covered jacket, you may be able to find the same patches to add to your own clothing. Just use a little bit of creativity and you'll be able to put together a great last-minute costume.
