Paypal had been a great way to send and receive payments. But enough is enough. They've just been getting greedier and greedier over time. A huge increase in per transaction fees. From 30 cents to 50 cents. On top of that they don't even want to refund transaction fees even if you issue a full refund. So if someone places a $1000 order with us and wants to cancel and refund, we are out of $30 in transaction fees. We'll never see that refund. They claim this is industry standards. Well bullshit it is. Every other merchant provider we use gives back the percentage transaction fee in the event of a refund.
Why use paypal when you can use your credit card just as safe as paypal and earn points at the same time. We have options, Google Pay, Apple Pay! They are all extremely safe methods of paying for goods you buy online. Even our onsite credit card system is a built in iframe provided by our merchant provider. That means none of the card information you enter on our site is processed by or stored at our own servers. We just don't see your card information on our end. We don't process it either. Which means there is no way for us to compromise your card information PERIOD!
Paypal thinks they can just up their fees and unfairly not refund transaction fees when we issue refunds. Well they can do as they please. But these are not industry standards and we will not accept paypal anymore because we are sick and tired of having to pay a huge premium in transaction fees when there are cheaper alternatives. So long paypal. Use your credit cards safely at our store. Earn Points from your Bank. Your cards are processed securely by our merchant provider Braintree. We never see your card information at our end.
