A Patch to Show Your Native American Pride

Tribal Feathers PatchI've often thought the sleeve of the leather jacket gets neglected as far as patches go, which is why I was happy to find the Tribal Feathers patch in the Small Cool Patches section. It's 6" long and 2.25" wide making it the ideal size for a sleeve. Especially if you're a Native American biker and want to show pride in your heritage. If you only wear a vest, there are two small areas where the sides of your vest meet the back - these patches fit great there too. The Cheap Place has a picture of this so you can see what I'm talking about.

What I like most about this patch is a subtle but creative use of color throughout the piece. At first glance it seems rather monochrome, but if you take a closer look you see there are several different colors included. From blue to purple and gold to red, this patch displays the intricacy of natural bird feathers through modern embroidery. I know they do these modern patches on a machine, but can you imagine doing this type of embroidery by hand? They used to.

This patch is just one of several at The Cheap Place paying tribute to Native American Indians. Take a few minutes to browse through the various sections of the website to see all the rest. If you're a native American biker there's no better place to get these kinds of patches.
