Heat Pressing an Iron on Patch

Set your Heat Press to 270 Degrees. Set the self release timer to 12 seconds. Pre heat the area the patch will be going on. At this time check and make sure there is good pressure applied to the garment. If not make some adjustments. This particular guy has a screw at the bottom that raises the lower plate closer to the upper plate.

Position the patch and press the patch on. You can remove the garment from the press BUT Don't mess around with the patch seeing if it stuck or not. Wait for it to cool all the way down to room temperature before you inspect the edges.

Some materials may require longer press times, however the temperature should always be between 260-280 degrees Fahrenheit (130-135 degrees Celsius) in order to activate the glue properly.
