This Patch is for Anyone in the Navy

navy circle PatchAre you a member of the Navy, or are you retired from the Navy?  If you are, you may want to put a Navy Circle Patch on your vest or jacket.  This round patch features the official seal of the U.S. Navy and looks great on many different types of clothing.  You'll find this patch under the U.S. Navy Patches section.  One of the great things about The Cheap Place and patches like this is that they can be purchased wholesale.  Buying wholesale biker patches is a great way to get this patch for all your Navy friends while saving some money.

The symbol of the navy features a large sailing ship, the eagle, and an anchor.  The eagle, which is often used as a symbol of the United States, has carried the ship's anchor to dry land, like it's leading the ship and its crew to safety.  This patch, just like the actual seal, is full of vivid colors and details.  It very nicely captures the spirit of the Navy.  Of course, much of the patch, including the circle around the emblem, is done in blue, the color most often associated with the Navy.

The U.S. Navy has existed since 1775, when the Continental Congress created the Continental Navy to assist in the Revolutionary War.  However, this navy was disbanded after the war and was not reformed until eleven years later, when pirates began harassing merchant ships.  The Naval Act of 1794 created the Navy, and it has been a part of the U.S. armed forces ever since.

This U.S. Navy Circle Patch measures three inches across and can be either sewn or ironed on.
