Adding Reflective Decals to Your Bike

Biking is fun, but it's not so fun when you end up in a crash. Biker safety is important, and one way to help in improve your chances of not ending up in a crash is to buy reflective decals for your bike.

Vinyl is a common material for decals with reflective coating on top. By adding reflection to your bike, other drivers are more likely to see you at night, increasing your chances of living to ride another day. They are very easy to install. Just peel them off and attach them to your ride, no trouble at all.

You may show your independence by adding a lone wolf patch on your jacket. These reflective patches say you are a lone wolf who is interested in being seen but not touched, by a ton of metal and steel. You will certainly stand out from the pack. Increasing your visibility also gives other drivers a chance to check out your cool ride. Otherwise, they may never see it (and you) at night, and isn't that half the fun of riding a bike?

Biker patches are a great way to show your personality, but decals can be just as effective for your bike. Decals come in many styles from checkerboard to flames. Striping is a common addition to motorcycles, as are chevron decals on the back of your saddle bags. And nothing says speed quite like black and white checkerboard.

So you may thing safety is for the weak, but if you want to be seen, reflective decals are a great way to stick out. With so many varieties, you can surely find one to fit your style and personality.
