Becoming a Patch Reseller

If you're looking for a way of supplementing your income or if you want to get into selling items at biker rallies, you might be interested in becoming a patch reseller.  Resellers purchase patches from licensed shops such as The Cheap Place and then resell them on online auctions or at biker rallies.  However, there are a few little tricks you need to know about before you become a patch reseller that will help you save money and be successful.

First of all, you need to know all about buying wholesale biker patches.  Instead of purchasing your patches individually, you should ask about wholesale options.  This means buying multiple copies of the same patch.  Usually, there's a minimum number required.  The good news is that you get a little bit of a discount on each patch, and the more you buy, the cheaper they are individually.  This helps you quickly build up inventory and save on purchasing patches, which means you'll be able to make more of a profit on each one you sell.

If you're planning on selling these patches on online auction sites, be sure to remember two things: the site is going to take a cut of whatever money you make, and you will have to mail the patches to the winners.  This means you'll need to make sure you at least make back the cost of the patch plus the site's fee, and you need to charge enough of a shipping and handling fee to cover shipping and whatever shipping materials (envelopes, etc.) you need to buy.

Selling at a biker rally means there's no shipping cost, but there is almost always a fee to set up a booth at a rally.  Be sure you sell enough patches to cover that fee.  If you really want to make it a profitable experience, you also need to make enough to cover your travel and lodging.
