Biker Patch Quiz

One of yesterday's blog posts discussed being able to identify motorcycle clubs by the patches they wear. Today I want to take that one step further by testing your knowledge with a short biker patch quiz. It's not necessary to be able to recognize club colors unless you're part of a club, but it's a fun little game nonetheless. So let me give you a brief description of some of the more well-known colors and see if you know they belonged to.

  • a skull with a red motorcycle helmet and gold wings =
  • a skull and crossed pistons =
  • a sombrero-wearing Mexican with a sword and pistol =
  • a blue and gold triangle with white stars =
  • an open Bible with flames and a sword =

So, how many did you know? The answers are: Hells Angels, Outlaws, Bandidios, Patriot Guard, and Bikers for Christ

These are some of the more well-known motorcycle groups with chapters in the United States. Obviously, there are literally dozens of biker clubs spanning all sorts of geographic locations and philosophies. The point is that motorcycle clubs exist to provide brotherhood and fellowship among individuals with a common love for motorcycles. Their custom club colors simply identify who they are and what they're about.

You can get your own custom club patches for your group simply by coming up with an original design and submitting it, in digital form, to a company like The Cheap Place. Embroidered patches make a great way to identify your club without spending a whole lot of money or hiring a professional marketing firm. With an order of just 12 pieces or more, The Cheap Place can have your patches made for just a couple of dollars apiece. They'll even ship them directly to your home or business.
