Are you ready for Biketoberfest? This event will be held October 16 through 19 in Daytona Beach, Florida. Biketoberfest is one of the premiere events held in Daytona, the other is the Daytona Beach Bike Week held in March.
Biketoberfest isn't as old as some of the motorcycle rallies. The first Biketoberfest was held in 1991. It has been called a few different things since then, but Biketoberfest is the name that has stuck. Generally, over 100,000 people attend the rally, which usually sees very nice warm but not scorching hot weather.
What's going on this year at Biketoberfest? Like every year, there will be a ton of different events. Some start out earlier than the official rally, such as the Biketoberfest Party that will be held daily at Froggy's Saloon. Then there's the 316 Main Street Station Garage Bar to visit. The main vendor area at Biketoberfest will be spread across four different locations and will include Hot Leathers, Fastlane Promotions, and much more. These are the places to go if you're looking for parts, military patches, or any other biker-related item.
Naturally, there will be some organized rides. The four main rides will be from Daytona Beach to St. Augustine, Daytona Beach to DeLand, The Tomoka River to St. John's River, and the Lighthouse to the ancient Turtle Mound. There are also many other events planned for Biketoberfest. There will be seminars, expos, concerts, and even celebrity appearances. Bikers who want to collect an official Biketoberfest commemorative pin will need to sign up for the event and then visit the welcome center located on Beach Street as soon as they can and show their official 'Pin Pass' email. These pins are limited, so those attending need to get to the welcome center as quickly as they can.
