Damaged Patches

Have you damaged your biker patches somehow?  There are a number of different ways this could happen.  You could spill something on your jacket or get some oil or other grime on it while working on your bike.  If you crash and go skidding across the ground, you might get dirt ground into it, or it's even possible the patch might get ripped right off.  In some cases, you might be able to repair the patch, but in others, it might be better to try to remove it and completely replace it.

Embroidered Patches that have gotten dirty can usually be cleaned by washing the item.  If the patch got dirty, chances are you'll need to wash it anyway.  A number of jacket materials can be washed at home, but if you got your leather jacket dirty or have stains all over a vest, you will probably need to take it to the dry cleaners.  They can often use professional-grade cleaning solutions to get the item clean.  Sometimes, though, there may be no way to clean it, especially if the stain has had time to set in.

If your motorcycle patches have been torn or otherwise damaged, you don't have very many options.  In some cases, you may have to buy a new jacket.  Patches are very strong, so something that tears the jacket material may not damage it.  However, if the jacket is beyond saving, you may not be able to fix it by adding more patches or sewing it up.  In that case, about all you can do is try to remove the patches and save them.  If the patch has just come unattached on one end, you might be able to sew it back down, even if you originally ironed it on.
