Many motorcycle riders love to add embroidered patches to their jackets. They'll add all sorts of different patches to them. Large back patches, some funny sayings patches, a zodiac patch or two, there are so many out there, and bikers have so many options. But what if you like your jacket as it is? Do you necessarily have to cover every square inch of it with embroidered patches? No, of course you don't. But there are some reasons why you might want to put patches on your gear instead of leaving it blank.
Wearing biker patches is one way of customizing your gear. You can show what you like, what political parties you support, and more. You can show people that you're in the military, a police officer, or a firefighter. You can even make jokes and let people know that you have a sense of humor. It's all up to you. There are many different possibilities, and if you can't find a patch you want, you can always buy a blank one and make your own.
If you don't want to cover your entire jacket with patches, then don't. You can always add just one or two. It's not an all or nothing type of situation: add a few patches if you want, or cover every part of your jacket. The idea is to make your biker gear reflect who you are, and if that means added emblems and appliques, then that's great. If it means leaving all of your gear plain, then that's fine, too.
But before you decide you don't want to wear any patches at all, take a look at what's available. Once you see some of the awesome patches you can add to your biker gear, you might just change your mind.
