Do You Need To Wear Large Back Patches?

If you've been shopping around for patches, you've probably come across a number of large back patches.  Many riders have these large patches ironed or sewn onto the back of their jackets or vests.  They build their entire patch collection around this one large patch, and it sets the theme and color scheme for the entire jacket or vest.  But these large back patches mean you can't put as many small patches on your jacket.  There are some different ways you can make use of these large patches without putting them on your jacket.

If you don't use one of these patches, though, how will your jacket look?  The answer to that depends on what patches you use and how you arrange them.  There are some patches that are a little taller than normal, and you could put one of those in the middle of your jacket instead of one of these really large patches.  That way, you can put a few small patches on either side of it.  You could also put two large rockers on the jacket, one at the top and one at the bottom.  Then you could put a few small patches between them.

There are other things you can do with these large back patches.  For example, if you have a large canvas bag that you use for shopping or for carrying around some of your extra biker gear, you could put a large patch on it.  In fact, you could put one on either side.  You can also frame these large patches and hang them on the wall or iron/sew them on to a large throw pillow.  You don't have to wear them; in fact, you don't have to use them at all, but they're often so detailed and amazing that you'll want to.
