Halloween is here in less than a month! Do you have your costume planned out yet? If not, here's an easy one that shouldn't take a whole lot of money: dress like a biker for Halloween! It can be a great option if you normally don't dress that way. If you're a biker who doesn't usually dress like one, this can be a chance to let your alter ego run free!
The costume itself is pretty simple. For the shirt, just about anything will suffice, a plain white t-shirt would work if you can't find anything else you like. You could also get a shirt with the Harley Davidson, Honda, or any other biker company logo on it. Wear a leather vest over it and a leather jacket over that. Be sure to get some cool patches to add to the jacket and/or the vest, especially ones that have to do with motorcycles or motorcycle brands.
As far as pants go, you could look for leather pants since that's what bikers often wear. However, they may be difficult to find. Jeans are a perfectly acceptable alternative, especially if you have ones that have a few tears in them. That will make it look like you've crashed a few times.
A pair of motorcycle boots will finish off your basic outfit. Of course, you'll want a few accessories. Some bikers wear bandanas on their heads, especially when they're not wearing a helmet. Many bikers wear wallet chains so their wallets don't fall out while on the bike, and most wear some jewelry, too. Both men and women who bike wear necklaces, bracelets, and rings. Look for jewelry that resembles chains and other motorcycle parts.
If you don't want to spend the money on new clothes and accessories, look at thrift and second-hand stores. You can often find what you've been looking for there, and since the clothing will have been used, it will have an even more authentic look to it.
