Katherine Knight was the first Australian women to be sentenced to life term without parole. Her relationships with men were particularly violent. Smashing the dentures of one husband and slicing the throat of another husbands dog. Poor Thomas Price was the husband that suffered the most. He had filed a Apprehended Violence Order that ended with Knight stabbing him at least 37 times killing him. Then she skinned him and hung his "suit" from the door frame in the living room. She baked his butt with vegetables and gravy and threw his head in the soup pot. Fortunately police arrived before the children arrived home.
Judias V. Buenoano was executed in Florida's electric chair following her conviction of murdering husband James Goodyear. The Air FIrce sergeant had barely three months home from Vietnam when he died from arsenic poisoning. She was also convicted of killing her handicapped son when a canoe they were in capsized and his braces weighed him down. She and other son James survived. John Gentry escaped death...barely. She poisoned him with arsenic and he survived. She was charged with attempted murder. It appears the motive in each case was insurance money.
