Sure, Thanksgiving hasn't even arrived yet, but don't let that fool you: Christmas is just around the corner. In fact, some stores have had their Christmas aisles up since before Halloween! If you love Christmas and are an avid biker, there are a few fun things you can do this holiday with your motorcycle. Some regions will, of course, be better for this than others. If you live in an incredibly cold area, you may not want to do as much riding as you would if you lived in, say, Florida or California.
Everyone loves to drive or walk around and look at Christmas lights. With a motorcycle, you can combine the two. With a car, you can drive around to a lot of areas, and you don't get as tired. However, if there are a lot of you, you're kind of crammed into the car, and you have to keep rolling the windows down to take it all in. Walking lets you do that, but you can't cover as much. With a motorcycle, you get both. You can always park and get off your bike if you want to walk around.
There are many Christmas Day parades and New Year's parades you might want to ride in. Biker clubs are often invited to ride in these kinds of parades. If there's a city parade planned in your home town, you might want to see if your biker club wants to join in.
You may also have an extra Christmas or holiday party to attend: many biker clubs have a party to celebrate the holidays. You might all ride to a restaurant together, or it might be a potluck where everyone brings a dish. Either way, it's sure to be a fun event for everyone.
