Simply to put in words I don't believe in Gay Marriage. Nevertheless I don't want to do anything to take anyones rights away, whether it is waving the rainbow flag or having a gathering at Disney or having your pride walks. Go ahead and peacefully coexist. My belief and opinions need not bother anyone. People ask what you think and here is my answer. I believe you get married to have children to continue your legacy with your partner. They say love is the reason to get married, my opinion is different. You can love someone without needing to get married. You may think I'm wrong, it's okay. I have my views, you have yours, why don't we just disagree with each other and continue on living peacefully. People also say Marriage is forever, how so when a good number of them end in a divorce.
I'm not here to rally for taking anyone's American given rights away. One thing that stung this morning was getting a directive from Amazon to remove all my Rebel flag listings or face the removal of my selling 'privileges' on Amazon. 4 years I've sold that flag patch on Amazon. 4 years Amazon collected commission from every sale I made on it. I find it a bit unfair for a company to make a decision to limit people's freedom of expression overnight.
I ask the entire Gay community today. How would you feel if Amazon made a decision to remove all the Gay Pride Flag listings from their site? How would that go down in the news? I for one may disagree with Gay Marriage, but I will not rally against your rights to purchase a flag that means something to you. On the other hand, the Rebel flag means something to those who wave it proudly. Why is it okay to listen to those opposing it and make a decision with total disregard to those who support it.
Again thank God that I live in America where I can have my own opinion and voice it freely. Feel free to disagree with me. It's absolutely okay. Just know that although I don't believe in Gay Marriage, I am NOT offended by your right to wave your flag. I'm sure somewhere in your opinions you think it is okay and that is totally acceptable. I can live with that. Unfairness is what I can't live with.
For taking away Southerners rights to purchase their heritage flag I will protest Amazon for a while. I'll start with canceling my prime membership and withhold from making any purchases on Amazon for as long as I can. I'ld like to invite you to raise your voice too. Today I stand in support of allowing the sale of the Rebel Flag. Hopefully tomorrow I won't have to do the same for the American Flag.
