Impersonating a police officer is completely ILLEGAL. We have these patches in our inventory for official law enforcement officers and video producers or Halloween Costume wanters. It's not illegal to sell such patches, but depending on what you do with it after you purchase it can buy you a ticket to jail and possibly leave a felony on your permanent record, which is not good at all. We care about you all and want you to be safe. Buying these patches and applying them to uniform like clothing does not make you a law enforcement officer. It takes much more than a couple dollars and some heat activated glue to become a police officer. It takes training, certification bravery and heart.
Falsely impersonating a police officer in the state of Florida is considered a third degree felony and ranks as a level 2 offense of severity under Florida's Criminal Punishment Code. If you are convicted of such charges, you may be looking at up to 5 years in prison, 5 years of probation, and/or fines up to $5,000. Be careful folks.
