Riding all around the country, going to rallies in different states, and meeting many awesome biker friends is great, but most people want more to remember these excursions than just their memories. They want a few things to remember their trips by. If you're looking for different ways of making memories, here are some things you can do while you're on your road trips to capture memories and find mementos.
The easiest and most common way of making memories is, of course, to take your camera with you and snap a lot of photos. With digital cameras, this is incredibly easy, you don't even have to worry about buying film if you've got a good sized memory card. And if you've got a smart phone, you don't even need to buy a camera. Many smart phones can take photos that are as good as a mid-range digital camera, and you can then email them to your friends or share them on social media sites.
One way of remembering the rallies you've attended or other states you've visited is to purchase motorcycle patches and add them to your jacket, vest, or other items. Most of the large rallies sell patches for each rally that are only sold that year. Then there are patches for each state of the U.S. You can buy a patch for every state you've visited and display them as a way of showing how much you've traveled.
There are a lot of other items you can purchase as mementos of every place you've visited. State magnets, pens, and other items are available, as are souvenirs from many major tourist attractions. Next time you're out on a ride, think about doing a few of these things to remember your rides by.
