Making Room for More Patches

Once you've filled up your jacket with biker patches, you might decide you either need a new jacket or that you need to find a new place for patches.  But there might be some extra space here and there for some other little patches.  If you sewed on your patches, you might be able to carefully snip the threads and actually move the patch over, but if you ironed them on, you won't be able to remove them.  But there are a few little places you can put patches that you might not have thought of.

For example, do you have patches going all the way down your sleeves?  While it can be a little difficult to put large patches here because it makes it a little difficult to bend your arms, you can use some small patches with no problem.  This is especially true for the upper part of your sleeve.  Rocker patches, in fact, are specifically designed to put on the top of your sleeve.

Another place to put patches in on the front of your jacket.  Some people might put a few sew on patches on the right-hand side, such as a name patch or a patch listing their rank in their motorcycle club.

Another place to put some patches that people may have not thought of is on the inside of your jacket.  This is a good place to put those patches that you may not want everyone to see, such as those that may be offensive to others.  Since the inside lining of a jacket is usually heat-friendly, you can iron your patches.

Of course, if you know you're going to want a lot of motorcycle patches, you can always place your patches very close together so you've got room for all of them.
