Making Your Motorcycle as Comfortable as Possible

You may not think about it, but people are always adjusting the things around them to make their lives as easy and as comfortable as possible.  However, when it comes to motorcycles, we rarely think of all the things we can change to help make our rides better.  The fact is that there are a number of different options can easily be changed or adjusted on a motorcycle to help make the ride a unique experience that perfect for you.

Some of the basic things that can easily be manipulated to help make the ride better are the handlebars, the foot pegs (or controls), and the seat.  These three things define the comfort of a motorcycle.  Think about it: if the ride is smooth but the seat is hard as a rock, if your feet are clamped up underneath you, or if the handlebars cause your torso to stretch to its limits, then the bumps in the road aren't going to matter at all.  Some minor adjustments and after-market upgrades can make a world of difference to your comfort level.

For example, tilting the seat and the handlebars just a little bit one direction or the other can greatly impact how you sit on the bike.  Also, if you have long legs, you will most likely want to look into getting foot pedal extenders.  If you cannot adjust your seat, then you can buy one that better fits your sitting posture, and the same goes for handlebars.  When you make these adjustments, just be sure to go through each thing one at a time until you find the perfect settings for your posture.
