Moped Army Patches Pretty Creative

moped armyWhen it comes to your typical motorcycle club, Moped Army doesn't seem to fit the bill. That's because this is no ordinary motorcycle club. It is a club devoted to riding mopeds and preserving the unique moped culture which has evolved across the United States ever since these "mini motorcycles" first came to market.

What's most unusual about this club is how it's set up - as a loose national affiliation of independent clubs, known as "branches." Each branch is self-governed and creates its own rules for membership and participation. As such, each branch also has its own colors. There are currently 21 branches across the country with more than 500 members. While it may be small by comparison, Moped Army is serious about what they do.

In terms of custom motorcycle club patches, Moped Army's is pretty creative. The patch for the national organization looks, at first glance, like something out of Star Trek movie. That's rather fitting when you consider the fact that most Moped Army members lean more toward the geek side. Anyway, when you look more closely you'll notice that the insignia is meant to look like a moped being viewed from the front. It has the handlebars, the headlight, and the front axle. Simple, yet ingenious at the same time.

Since club patches are such an important part of the biker culture, most clubs have their own custom patch. Fortunately, The Cheap Place is one outlet where you can get custom patches for motorcycle clubs made it pretty inexpensively. All you need to do is contact them, get them a digital copy of your design, and order at least 20 pieces of the time. They'll be happy to produce your custom club patches and ship them right to your door.
