You've added patches to your jacket and other riding gear. Then you got your spouse to add some of your favorite patches to their jacket. You even put some patches on your baby's onesies and got your kids to wear a few patches. So what's left? How about patches for your pets? It sounds pretty crazy, but hey, aren't all bikers just a little bit crazy anyway?
To add patches to your dog or cat's outfit means, well, you have to dress them in something! Now that, to some people, is truly crazy. But many pet owners, especially dog owners, do put sweaters and other little outfits on their dogs. Not all of this is because they're crazy dog people. In some places, it gets very cold in the winter, and small dogs don't want to go outdoors to do their business because of it. Their owners put little doggie sweaters on them to keep them warm when they go outside. Even with small dogs, there's enough space on their sweater to fit at least one small patch.
You can show off your puppy and his or her patches anywhere: at dog parks, at an outdoor party, and even at some biker rallies. And don't think your puppy hates it or that it's animal abuse. Many dogs do actually like wearing their little sweaters, especially when it's cold outside. If you've put patches on every other member of your family, why not add your furry friend to the list? Your entire family will look amazing with matching patches!
