Lake Thundbird also offers great views for a Sunday drive. With country roads that circle it as well as one that bridges over it it is sure to cool your nerves. It's located just southwest of Oklahoma City, easily within driving distance.
If you're looking for a bit more wildlife, then Stinchcomb Wildlife Refuge is the place for you. It's a great location to catch wildlife as you ride through the local woods. It is situated just northwest of Bethany. Or do you want some family-friendly fun? Take a drive over to the Oklahoma City Zoo, which features a variety of animals sure to please.
Oklahoma City offers some excellent options for taking that weekend drive. With an adventurous attitude, any of these places are sure to appease your appetite for riding, whether with your local club or out on a jaunt all by yourself.
