I'm not a person who watches the news. Doesn't mean I'm ignorant. There is 24 hours in a day and I don't find following the news my worthwhile. I know all the news channels have an agenda which is to please their sponsors (The guys that advertise with them). Why should I tune into something that is going to use lies and word tricks to get you to buy into an idea their sponsors want you to accept.
I've been selling Rebel Flag Patches at TheCheapPlace.com ever since we began our venture in 2009. Lately I have been receiving reviews about the flag representing racism and slavery. To me all these years this flag represented rebelling against ideas you were forced to accept.
The Rebel Flag may represent many different things to many different groups. It's very okay, you are entitled to have your own opinions on any issue. And it's okay to be judged by people too, because that's what we do.
Ebay, Sears, Walmart and Amazon made a decision to discontinue the sale of the Rebel Flag. That's their choice as they feel they have to be politically correct. I on the other hand don't rely on sponsors who can twist my arm to get me to take it down too. I am entitled to my own opinions, you are entitled to call me stupid, ignorant, racist, anything you please. It's quite okay. People who know me know who I am. And selling this flag doesn't make me racist. It's been up on our site since 2009. To this date no one said a thing until the people all of a sudden got brain washed by the media.
I've sold this Rebel Flag in the South, I sold it in the North, I sold it to White Folks and I sold it to Black Folks.
I personally hate racist people, I condemn Slavery and I do not believe the Rebel Flag represents Slavery and Racism. Just like I do not think the color Red represents communism. Again you are entitled to your own opinions as much as I'm entitled to my own.
If you hate Milk or Meat because of the way Cows are treated, what do you do? You just don't buy it. You don't ask the supermarket to get rid of it from their shelves. As long as it is not illegal to sell these Flags we will continue to offer them to our customers wanting them. We do not force anyone to buy anything, we make products because people want them. If you don't want them, simple, don't buy them.
