Using Patches in Your Home D'cor

Do you have more patches than you can wear on your riding gear?  What do you do with all of those extras?  Some bikers leave them in a drawer until they get a new jacket, but there's a lot more you can do with spare biker patches.  Did you ever consider using them in your home décor?  You can decorate just about any room or area with patches and make it look really cool.

One awesome way of using these patches is to put them in frames and display them as artwork.  You don't have to iron or stitch them on to anything, you can actually use a safety pin to hold them in the frames.  For some frames, you can put a piece of felt across the back to mount the patches on, and the felt will actually hold the patches in place.  You won't need to stitch or pin anything.  You can group your patches by style, theme, color, or put your favorite ones together.  You can even overlap patches to make a fun collage if you like.

If you don't mind using your patches, you can put them on pillows or on quilts.  This is a really cool idea that brings your biker lifestyle into your home.  Throw pillows with some colorful patches look amazing, and putting patches on a quilt will add a little bit of flair to your bed.

There are many other things you can do with patches to decorate your home: just get creative!  Anything that's cloth or leather can be decorated with patches.  If you don't want to use up any of your favorite patches in decorating, you can always purchase some specifically for use in your home projects.
