Why Do Bikers Love to Ride?

You're a biker.  You've got an amazing motorcycle, you have biker gear covered in motorcycle patches, and you've put a large number of miles on your bike.  While hitting the open roads and spending all this time on your motorcycle makes perfect sense to you, some others might wonder why exactly you love to ride.  Different people love motorcycles for different reasons, of course, but here are some of the ones that come up most often.

Some bikers love the machine.  They like tinkering with their motorcycle, riding it, and working on it.  Some buy a motorcycle to constantly upgrade it.  They'll replace different parts and customize it so that no one would ever mistake their bike for another.  It's all about the bike.

Others ride because they love the open road.  For them, it's the riding and the travelling that's important.  They want to feel the wind in their hair and the road beneath their feet.  They also love the opportunity to travel and see many different places.  While that can be done in a car, there's something magical about doing so on a motorcycle.

Some bikers do it for the community.  They love spending time with the other members of their motorcycle club.  They talk about bikes, about their favorite places to ride, and spend time together.  They might also help each other out in customizing their bikes or trade motorcycle patches.  They become more than just fellow club members, some become very close friends and spend time together outside of motorcycle club events.

While bikers love riding for many different reasons, they all have one thing in common: they love their motorcycles and riding them.  They don't really need any other reason.
