Bikers love their motorcycles, but some people just don't see the appeal. They find motorcycles too loud or too dangerous to ride. But there are actually a lot of really good reasons to ride a bike. They're actually very safe if you know how to properly ride one, and many of today's motorcycles are very quiet. One of the biggest reasons people ride bikes is because of how they look and the rebel attitude associated with bikers. They want to ride through town showing off their motorcycle, their jacket covered with biker patches, and their awesome gear. But there are some other reasons to ride a motorcycle.
In some parts of the world, automobiles are actually hard to come by, and the streets are very narrow. Motorcycles, scooters, and bicycles are the preferred method of transportation. You might be surprised at how many more motorcycles are ridden in other parts of the world.
Curriers and delivery personnel often ride motorcycles, too, because they allow them to cut through traffic and park is special areas that are often closer to their destination. This is especially important when they're delivering something that is time-sensitive.
Aside from work, some people ride because of the amazing feeling they get when they're shooting down the highway with the wind in their hair and the open road under them. It's simply different from diving a car. Riders feel more connected to the world around them since they are out in the open. Of course, this connectedness isn't always a good thing if it starts to rain and you're not prepared!
