Beginning Thursday, October 18th marks the 20th Annual Biketoberfest in Daytona Beach Florida. This celebration is for the love of the fun and adventure of riding. Named as one of he top 25 events in the Southeast in 1997, you are sure to have a great time. Bikes, babes, beer and the beach! One of the most beautiful beaches in the world in my opinion.
There is so much to do if you have never been you may want to stop by the Official Biketoberfest Visitor's center. They are located at the Daytona International Speedway and Bruce Rossmeyer's Harley Destination Daytona on US 1 in Ormond Beach. You can just sign in and receive a pocket guide for the festivities and loads of information.
Just a few if the entertainers this year are Lita Ford and Quite Riot. Of course live music will be ongoing throughout the celebration.
Visit the famous "Boothill Saloon" or walk across the street to the Historic Pinewood Cemetery. Riverside Park,home of the Harly Pinstop, will be rocking throughout the event with hourly give aways and lots of vendors and fun.
You do not want to miss the Daytona International Speedway Motorcycle Races on October 18th -21st. Tickets are $10.00 for the week day and $20.00 for the week end.
Get ready to see some of the most beautiful bikes in the world this week. You can take a walk down Main St. to see hundreds of bikes lined up and down the road.
Did I happen to mention that the beach is still really nice? The temperatures are perfect.
