A Back Patch for the Ladies

Lady Rider Wings Feather Patch LargeFor today's post I want to return to the Native American patches and talk about the large Lady Rider Wings Feather patch. I really like this patch because I love the color purple! In terms of sheer color alone this patch is one of the more attractive ones I've seen in a while. And although it's not necessarily categorized as a back patch, the fact that it measures 10 inches means it probably won't fit anywhere else.

The Cheap Place has a picture of this patch mounted on the back of a brown leather vest. I'm sure it would look excellent against black leather, but there's something about the color combination of the patch and the brown leather that makes it pop. If you're a lady rider looking for a classy and attractive back patch you could do a lot worse than this one.

You'll want to sew this one on with needle and thread due to its size and weight. You never want to use the plastic backing on leather, but even using a hot iron on a jean jacket probably won't keep it secure in the long run. And as long as you have the needle and thread out you might want to consider getting a rocker patch for underneath, as well as a couple of patches for the front. If you really like this Lady Rider patch The Cheap Place also has a smaller version that would fit nicely on a front panel.
