I found a piece in the New Patches section today which would be perfect for people who believe bigger is better. I'm talking about the 10" Bear patch (Large) - the monster patch featuring nothing more than the snarling head of a brown bear with jaws wide open. I tell you what, if you sneaked up on me with this patch in dim light you could probably scare the crap out me... if you know what I mean. This thing is that big and intimidating.
Of course, You're not going to try to iron; it's just too heavy and probably wouldn't stay on long. You're probably also going to discover that the only good place for is on the back of a jacket - leather or otherwise. Just make sure you attach it to a jacket that you wear often because once it gets out, everyone's going to want to see it.
If you want to mix it up on the back of your jacket you could add a rocker either over the top or underneath. You can find rockers with state names, country names, American flags, Canadian flags, and so on. I'm thinking maybe your state name over the top and, if you're a vet, another rocker underneath referencing your branch of service or maybe a conflict you were part of. Complement it on the front with an American flag and maybe another patch or two and you've got a great looking jacket.
