I was browsing through the Biker Sayings section today when I ran across a patch that made me wonder if it was inspired by President Obama- the My Give A Damn Is Busted patch. To tell you the truth, after listening to all the whining over the debt ceiling I'm seriously getting to the point where I don't really give a damn. I'm a writer by trade; I can earn my living anywhere I have an Internet connection. I'm about ready to leave the country to the brats and head to Costa Rica instead.
For those who are bikers this patch might speak a little differently to you. Perhaps you just don't give a damn about work anymore, or any of your other responsibilities, and you would just prefer to get on your bike and ride. I certainly understand your sentiment. I would have no complaints if that's what you decided to do. But if you do, make sure you get one of these patches sewn to your jacket or your chaps.
It does have heat activated glue on the back, which you can apply with an iron, but it doesn't work on the leather. It's really made for denim, cotton, nylon, and other similar fabrics. For leather you'll need to use a needle and thread. Just make sure to buy the patch and get it sewn on before any more of your give a damn is gone. Otherwise you might not have the motivation.
