In the Christian Patches section I found something you don't see everyday - the blue and white In Memory Of Dr. Bob patch. Just to prove my point, I didn't even know who Dr. Bob was until I searched the Internet. But alas, I found out that the triangle on this patch is the symbol of Alcoholics Anonymous which was co-founded by American physician Dr. Robert Holbrook. He and Bill Wilson started AA in 1935, helping millions of alcoholics ever since.
This is a nice patch to have if you're a recovering alcoholic. Thanks to Dr.'s Bob's commitment to sobriety, the Alcoholics Anonymous program is available all over the United States as well as other parts of the world. Not only that, it's been proven successful time and again by graduates who have recovered and managed to stay that way. This patch is fitting to wear any place you have an open piece of fabric, to raise awareness of Alcoholics Anonymous and all its benefits.
The patch has an iron on backing if you're not very adept with needle and thread. Just be careful not to try this method with leather. Against a dark background like a brown or a black, the blue on white would really looked pretty sharp. It would also serve to catch the attention of people who walk by. So if you're currently on the wagon, show your support for Dr. Bob and AA by proudly wearing one of these patches.
