An Annoying Reflective Patch

Can You See Me Now Asshole Reflective PatchReflective patches are always a good idea, but the Can You See Me Now Asshole patch takes it to a new level. You'll find it in the Reflective Patches section at The Cheap Place. If it sounds familiar, that's because it's a play on the old Verizon commercials where the spokesperson roams from place to place asking, "can you hear me now." If you stop and think about, those commercials are really what makes this patch is so great.

What I mean is that like most marketing ideas, Verizon's "can you hear me now" promotion was so overplayed that it became incredibly annoying. Just consider your average 30-second commercial where the spokesman asks that stupid question six or eight times. Then consider the commercial running a dozen times during a football game, and you know I mean. After a while you just get tired of hearing it.

Plugging it in to the biker world, this patch uses the same principle to get the attention of car drivers at night. And by adding a slight bit of vulgarity, it adds just enough of the annoying element to make it funny. That aside, being able to be seen on your bike at night is paramount to your safety as a rider. This patch more than does the job at 10" x 2.75". Attached anywhere on your clothing, it will make seeing you that much easier. So if you have no reflective patches, why not begin your collection with this one?
