For yesterday's post we visited the Biker Week section and I mistakenly claimed that The Cheap Place carries two patches in honor of Biketoberfest 2011. I was wrong. There are actually four patches available. So as a means of making my penance I will write about the 2011 Biketoberfest No. 1 patch today and the fourth in the collection tomorrow. Hopefully you Biketoberfest fans will forgive my error once my penance is complete.
Today's patch is the typical red, white, and blue #1 symbol common among biker patches. What makes it different is the Biketoberfest designation on the right side and the year 2011 underneath. If you think Biketoberfest is the best biker rally of the year perhaps this is a patch that's right up your alley. You might even want to purchase two of them and stitch them to the shoulders or sleeves of your leather jacket.
The best thing about the Bike Week stuff at The Cheap Place is that they carry patches from previous years and rallies. You could build an entire collection of all the rallies you've been to and display them in a case inside your home. Perhaps it would be good for you to buy all four Biketoberfest 2011 patches if you're building a collection. Stitch one to your leathers and out the other three in the display case. As always, as long as you're attaching these patches to fabric you can use the heat activated backing with a hot iron.
