Check Out This Large Iraqi Freedom Vet Patch

iraqi freedom vet large patchThe Iraq War started in 2003 and ended in 2011.  This conflict, which was also called Iraqi Freedom and the Second Gulf War, saw the government overthrown and the leadership of dictator Saddam Hussein ended.  A number of U.S. soldiers took part in this war, and even though it wasn't always a popular conflict, the soldiers who were deployed have been treated with respect and honor.  If you saw action in the Iraq War, this Iraqi Freedom Vet Patch - Large Rocker would make a very nice addition to the back of a jacket or vest.  It's meant to be positioned near the top of the item, and it will stretch across most of it.  It's located in the Rocker Patches section.

Following the First Gulf War, which started when Iraq invaded Kuwait, a number of different sanctions and restrictions were placed on Iraq by the international community.  One of these was that the country would not possess or develop weapons of mass destruction.  The UN investigators sent to make certain these sanctions were being met found no real evidence of these weapons, but they could not verify what weapons Iraq did possess.  Because of this and possible connections between Saddam Hussein and al-Qaeda terrorist groups, the U.S. and other countries pushed back into Iraq, starting the second war.

This large rocker patch measures ten inches wide and four inches high.  The lettering on 'Iraqi Freedom Vet' is done in brown and outlined in dark green, as is the border around the edge of the patch.  It looks great against the black background.  This patch can be sewn on to leather or ironed on to other materials.
