I was perusing the Funny Patches section when I ran across a 4" rectangle stating that "rehab is it for quitters." In case you can't figure it out, the name of this one is the Rehab Is For Quitters patch. Pretty profound, huh? I thought so. And along those same lines, the reason I thought this patch was funny is because it has what I call the "duh" factor.
For all of you too young to remember, the phrase "duh" was one we used when I was a teenager to declare that something someone else said was blatantly obvious. Sort of like how our rocket scientist President gave a speech a couple weeks ago to tell us that killing Osama bin Laden was the most significant event in the 10-year war against terror. Um, Mr. Obama....duh!
Anyway, I don't know how I got off on a rant but the profundity of this patch is amazing. If you are someone in need of rehab, just reading it could cause such a conflict of interests in your psyche that your brain could explode. I won't try to explain it - use your imagination.
It goes without saying that you can sew this patch to your leathers, iron it to a jean jacket, or pretty much attach it anywhere you want. My personal favorite, just for the tweaking effect, is to glue it right to the front of your helmet. Then just start inviting people to go for a ride.
