When you were a kid, did your dad ever threaten you in the car by saying, "Don't make me come back there!"? I was browsing through the Saying Patches when I saw one that reminded me of the old man. It's the Don't Make Me Open This Can patch. It's a pretty simple black, white, and red patch measuring 3.75" x 2", but it says a lot and it's funny as hell. It has the saying in big white letters along with a small red can to the left. I won't tell you what's in that can; you'll have to go look for yourself.
You know who this patch is great for? Older bikers whose kids have all grown. Grandma and grandpa won't be flying across the back seat to get at screaming kids, but they can walk 20 yards to put the smack-down on some punk with a bad attitude. Like my dad used to say, "You may be big, but you'll never be big enough."
The best thing about the patches that The Cheap Place is that they can easily be sewn on a jacket with the reinforced embroidered edges. And if sewing isn't your thing, most of them have an iron-on backing that works on any fabric. Just don't try on weather.
So for all of you older bikers out there it's time to get yourself a really big can. And I'll make sure I don't do anything to make you open it.
