Patrick Henry's Favorite Patch

Give Me Liberty or Give Me Death PatchFor those of you who love in U.S. history, particularly the Revolutionary War era, I found a patch at The Cheap Place that might just interest you. It's in the Military Patches section and it's listed as the Give Me Liberty or Give Me Death patch. If you're not a student of history, you may not know that Patrick Henry coined the phrase during an impassioned speech to his countrymen in support of the revolution against the British crown.

The patch itself is a combination of Patrick Henry's quote and the "Don't Tread on Me" flag design created at the start of the conflict. It incorporates the infamous coiled snake, along with the text, all in yellow. The black background and yellow embroidered edges make the patch stand out clearly. It would look exceptionally well on black leather. A subtle hint of green grass near the bottom of the patch lends just enough additional color to keep your attention.

I should think that American bikers would love a patch like this because of their inherent desire for freedom. This patch deserves a place on at least one of your pieces of biker clothing, if not multiple ones. If you can't sew, it has a backing which can be applied to any fabric using a hot iron. Just don't trying ironing on to leather; they don't play well together. If you're no good with a needle and thread, hire someone else to do it for you.
