Remember Sept 11, 2001 with this Patch

Sept 11 2001 PatchOne of the most memorable days in history is September 11, 2001.  It was on that day that what has been called the worst terrorist attack on U.S. soil occurred.  These attacks occurred in New York City and Washington, D.C., resulted in the destruction of the World Trade Center, and saw many lose their lives.  These four suicide attacks were carried out by 19 terrorists from the al-Qaeda militant group.  They captured four passenger jets, few two into the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center, and crashed one into the Pentagon.  The other plane crashed in a field after passengers fought back.  Many have chosen to honor those who lost their lives in this tragedy by wearing patches such as this Sept 11 2001 - Embroidered Patch.  You'll find it in the Firemen Patches and American Patches categories.

It's certainly true that these attacks changed the lives of just about everyone in the U.S., and they impacted the world as well.  The family and friends of those who died in the attacks and the rescue personnel who lost their lives in the aftermath were directly affected, but the aftermath of these events would eventually touch all U.S. citizens.  The new laws regarding flying, for example, lead to much stricter security.

September 11, 2001, also left an emotional impact on many.  Seeing this attack on their homeland caused most people to feel shock, sadness, and even fear.  It was a day we will never forget.  If you'd like to remember those lost in this tragedy, this patch is one nice way of doing so.  It measures 3.5 by 1 inch and features old English style lettering.  The patch can be sewn on or ironed on to materials other than leather.
